Just enter some words here that you expect to find in either some ontology file or metadata attached to it. Try simple words such as "food" or "disease" or use something more specific that might be stored in this repository. The words entered will be searched for as parts of:- the title of ontologies;
- class names;
- property names;
- ontology descriptions;
- keywords attached to ontologies; and
- comments in ontology files.
This Ontology Repository has been developed by the eResearch group, at the University of Queensland through funding provided by the Australian Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) via the Research Information Infrastructure Framework for Australian Higher Education.
This Web-based system enables users to submit, describe, search and browse ontologies. It also validates submitted ontologies and keeps track of who uploaded repositories and different versions of ontologies. The system currently supports OWL, RDF and OBO ontologies.
The objective is to promote the re-use of existing ontologies and hence improve interoperability, reduce duplication and enhance the discoverability and exchange of data, information and resources.
